Expectant Couples' Night: Preparing for the Early Weeks
The early weeks with a new baby can feel exciting, overwhelming, beautiful, and exhausting all at once. While you can't prepare for every moment, you can feel more confident, supported, and ready for what's ahead.
Join pediatric occupational therapist Armi Grace Petersen, MS, OTR/L and lactation consultant Ruth Jameson, PhD, IBCLC for a relaxed and supportive evening designed to help you and your support person navigate the transition into parenthood with greater confidence.
Together, we'll discuss:
How to get off to a smoother start with feeding and breastfeeding
Understanding your baby's early cues and development
Ways to support bonding, connection, and confidence in the early weeks
Realistic expectations for life after baby arrives
Practical strategies to help you feel less stressed and more prepared
There will be plenty of time for questions, conversation, and connection with other expecting families. Light snacks and mocktails will be provided.
