About ME

Hi, I'm Armi Grace your dedicated occupational therapist in the Southwest Chicago Suburbs.

Pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood are such new and vulnerable seasons of life. As a mom of 3 and survivor of postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression, my goal it to provide the support and education to new moms that I wish I had in my early years of motherhood.

HOW IT STARTED

I always dreamed of…

using my skills as an occupational therapist to truly make a difference—but I never imagined how personal that dream would become until I became a mom myself. After walking through postpartum anxiety and depression, I realized just how much support was missing for moms during this deeply vulnerable season. That’s when my dream shifted: I wanted to be the person I wish I had in those early days of motherhood.

Today, I specialize in maternal health and pediatric occupational therapy, supporting moms and babies through the early seasons of life. I offer personalized 1:1 services because I believe every family’s journey is unique—and also lead group sessions to provide accessible, education-based support that focuses on early intervention and prevention. I’m passionate about giving parents the tools to better understand infant development, baby milestones, and their own needs during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

I view motherhood itself as a developmental milestone—one that deserves just as much care, attention, and support as any other life transition. Through evidence-based, holistic care, I help families feel more confident, informed, and empowered. I’m committed to staying current through continuing education, so I can continue to meet families where they are—with empathy, clarity, and practical strategies that truly make a difference.

my philosophy

I believe in…

𑁍 Motherhood being a major life transition—one that deserves real support, not just survival.

𑁍 Early education and prevention to help families feel confident from the start.

𑁍 Occupational therapy bridging the gap in postpartum care and infant development.

𑁍 Every mom deserving a safe space to feel supported, seen, and empowered.

  • "I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care my 3-month-old daughter received from Armi for her mild torticollis. This was my first time experiencing this situation, and Armi made bi-weekly visits, providing valuable help in the comfort of our home. From the very first session, she demonstrated a deep understanding and expertise in pediatric care, making us feel confident and reassured. Her gentle approach and patience were instrumental in my daughter’s progress over the next couple of months. She provided us with valuable exercises and tips, which made a noticeable difference in her condition. I highly recommend Armi for anyone seeking a compassionate and skilled occupational therapist. Thank you for your dedication and support!"

  • "Armi Grace has been an invaluable resource as I have navigated my first pregnancy and my approach into motherhood. Her knowledge and expertise into not just the logistics of pregnancy and raising a child, but also the holistic and emotional side that I have been and will be experiencing has been really instrumental in me feeling more prepared for being a mom. I look forward to implementing the tools that she has taught me as I welcome our first child into the world, and it makes me feel more confident knowing that I have Armi Grace on my side to help with anything that comes my way!"

Her business addresses a missing piece of medical care, which is the care and support every new mom needs. Including reminders to take time to care for yourself, and to know you are always part of a community. I would encourage every mom to seek out Armi Grace’s services!"

  • "Armi has been a fabulous resource as I navigate pregnancy and then into delivery, post partum and beyond. She provides both the knowledge and insight of things we would not normally think of to prioritize and take care of. She uses both her experience as a mom and a OT to provide expertise and guidance. She values the mental and physical health of mommas. This time is both critical and invaluable, Armi reminds you to take care of yourself in addition to your child(ren) and family. Would absolutely recommend Armi and motivated OT Mama for pregnancy and postpartum support!"

    - J, first time mom

  • "I highly recommend Armi for all things pre/postpartum! I did a breastfeeding support session with her prior to having my baby, and she had so much valuable information to share. Armi has such a kind and calming demeanor and is clearly so passionate about her work! This really helped ease my anxiety, and I know she’ll be there to continue to support me in postpartum :)"

    - C, first time mom

  • "Armi is fantastic! She helped us navigate how to help our daughter’s torticollis and taught us a lot of great exercises to do with her. After a few weeks, improvement was already made! Armi was really patient and kind with our baby. She answered any questions we had and offered any additional help that she could including showing us how to use our new baby carrier. We highly recommend her!!

  • "Armi was amazing and such a delightful person to assist with our baby. She was beyond knowledgeable with her oral movement and helping us navigate postpartum life. We had our baby's oral ties released and Armi assisted with all the next steps to ensure our baby's releases were a success. She even noticed unusual sounds our baby made that we thought were strange that other doctors said we're just noisy baby. We took her to ENT (Armi helped recommend some) and baby was diagnosed with a condition. I was so thankful for Armi's help and would recommend her to everyone. With each session we had, we gained new skills to do with our baby and keeping her on track with milestones by engaging body movements. Our baby is happy and thriving."
